Is a membership at required to rent cabins/campsites/houses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Only members of The Ranch at Traders Hill can rent our lodging accommodations.

Question 2

Do I have to be a member to ride in the Saddle Series?

Accepted Answer

Riders who wish to participate in the Saddle Series do not have to be a member of Saddle Series. However, to accumulate points you must be a member of the Saddle Series. The Ranch membership does not include Saddle Series membership and vice versa. To apply for membership to one or both categories, click "Membership" in the site menu.

Do you have to be a member to ride in the Ride Night Series?

Accepted Answer

No you do not. However, to accumulate points for the end of the year awards, you must be a member at The Ranch at Traders Hill.

Is the Saddle Series and Ride Night the same?

Accepted Answer

No the awards are different for each series. A membership at The Ranch at Traders Hill Membership gives you access to Ride Nights, Roping Practice nights, and Open Arena Events. Saddle Series is separate and requires its own membership.

Does The Ranch at Traders Hill offer pony rides?

Accepted Answer

No we do not offer pony rides but we have a lesson program for advanced riders or for owners that want to grow in the art of horsemanship.

Do you have riding trails?

Accepted Answer

Yes we do for our members! Your first trail ride is guided. After that, you are free to trail ride as long as TR administration is aware you are on the property, for safety reasons!

Can I rent the Arena?

Yes you can request to rent our arena for clinics and equine shows! Just get in touch with us and we'll be happy to chat! If you are a member you can also book practice time in the arena for $20 on our google calendar.

Question 9

Do you offer summer camps for children?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer multiple summer camps every year. We usually put the schedule out around spring. The camps are geared to our regular lesson students, haul-in students,  and our boarders.

Is The Ranch open to the public during events?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our shows and hosted shows are open to the public for spectators. We often have food trucks or concessions available as well.

Does The Ranch offer trail rides to the publics for individuals or groups?

Accepted Answer

No we do not, we do have an extensive lesson program for riders who want to grow in the art of horsemanship. These lessons are offered to riders who want to haul their own horses in or for those who are leasing one of our horses on property.
