ABOUT OUR LESSONS

Located in Hilliard Florida, The Ranch at Traders Hill offers lessons in basic riding, trail riding, obstacle challenges, barrel racing and pole bending. Lessons are for students who strive to grow in their horsemanship and as a competitor in and out of the arena. 

Each lesson includes learning to properly groom and saddle your horse. 

Each student is taught to understand all aspects of the horse experience including but not limited to:

● Grooming

● Saddling

● After ride care Lesson horses are provided unless you have your own and would like to trailer in.

Students are required to wear closed-toed shoes and pants, boots and jeans preferred. Please no midriff or cutoff shirts and all tops must be appropriate. No spaghetti strap tank tops or low-cut attire.

All students under 18 are required to wear a helmet, you may bring your own or one is provided.

LESSONS PROGRAMS & PRICING

Haul in sessions are one on one horsemanship lessons or barrel lessons where you bring your own horse and grow with them. 
In house sessions are for our boarders here at TR who are looking for one on one help with their horses, training sessions are put on during the week for saddle time when the owner can't make it out to ride. 
Lease Lessons are for students leasing one of our horses and are looking to progress with their horse in our out of the arena.
Advanced lessons are for experienced riders not ready to buy or lease but plan to once confident on the ground, in and out of the arena, and figuring out what your looking for in a horse of their own. 

• Haul-in lessons: Outdoor Horsemanship - $45 per session         Barrel Lessons - $65 per session (multiple horses welcome.

• In House and Lease Lessons - Outdoor Horsemanship - $35 per session    Barrel Lessons $55 per session (multiple horses welcome) Training - 480 per session

• Advanced Lessons - $75 per session

LESSON BILLING & CANCELLATION POLICY

All payments are accepted through our QuickBooks system.

You will receive an invoice via email...click the link and submit payment.

Payment must be received on or before the last day of each month. You will NOT receive services for the next month until payment has been received.

     - We would appreciate a 12 hour notice prior to canceling.

     - If you cancel within 2 hours of your lesson you will be charged.

     - No call/no shows will be charged for your lesson hour.

We want to be respectful of your time as well as the time of our lesson instructors.
